Tires wear out in 5000kms., Sep 18 2005

I purchased two Michelin tires May 24th. 2005. I rode approx 5000km. The rear tire wore down to the inner canvas. The tire lost on stability in the rain. Michelin has a good reputation in vehicle tires however to lose all tread patterns in 5000km on a bicycle tire is unacceptable.

J'ai monté tous les vélos de la famille(4) et notre tandem avec ce pneu. aussi bien pour la ville que pour la randonnée. Et je l'ai recommandé à tous mes amis ! Mais samedi. je l'ai trouvé à 19 € chez Mondovélo... Gonflé. Mondovélo !

Déjà 6000 bornes avec ces pneus; l'avant est comme neuf et l'arrière pourra faire encore 2 à 3000. Une seule crevaison. et pourtant en ville. le verre cassé ne manque pas. Il semblerait que ce pneu ne se fasse plus en 700x32. Dommage!
